After my recent “Visions of Spring” post with a shot of a Japanese Water Iris from last spring, April showers have delivered with May flowers this year. It is a fitting day to post this shot of a beautiful Bearded Iris from my wife’s garden this spring.

As they say, April showers bring May flowers. And in our neck of the woods, it's been raining a lot, and I'm looking forward to photographing the many blooms to come. In anticipation, this is a shot of a beautiful Japanese Water Iris from May of last year at the Japanese Garden in the Missouri Botanical Garden.
